NYHS Opportunity for 6th graders this week

Dear 6th grade students and families,

We wanted to share with you another exciting opportunity from the New York Historical Society for students this week on Tuesday, April 28st.

Some of our 6th graders participated in the previous week’s online Student Session at the NYHS about Direct Democracy in Ancient Athens and/or on Representative Democracy in the early US, and the feedback we received from was very positive!

The next lesson in this series is about Branches of Government in the U.S. and Ancient Athens, where students will make connections between the political systems of Ancient Athens and the United States – also a good preview for 7th grade Social Studies next year!

This is an OPTIONAL opportunity. If you would like for your child to participate, please use the link below to register.

We look forward to “seeing” some of our students at the museum again this week!
